Room was awful. Small and dingy. The lobby is ok but when we asked for ice at the bar the girl said the ice machine wasn’t working and she went past us with a drink for herself with ice in it! This used to be a nice hotel

Avoid!
Over £100 to stay in a tiny room, the carpets were stained and we felt like we had gone back to the 80s. For such a big hotel in a nice town and not many other places to stay nearby it’s poor. Been to lots of Best Westerns and this is the worst. Needs some serious cash spending on it

A last minute booking because another company cancelled the day before our arrival so thank you for saving us.We stayed for 2 nights for the Brit Fest.The Gentleman behind the desk was very friendly and talked to us about the event with genuine care and interest.Very central hotel with all amenities.I can recommend this for a stay.

Property is old and worn-out. The TV didn't work, had to change room. The sink tap is not combined, then the hot/cold water in the shower couldn't be adjusted. Water getting hotter and hotter, very uncomfortable and had to finish showering quickly. Will not come back again.

Location of hotel is within a 15mins walk to the town where there are shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Tram station is also nearby and is convenient to ride into Manchester town center. Room is clean and guest has to inform reception if he/she wants room cleaned. I was rather surprised that I did not have a sign to be hung on door knob for that service until I met a housecleaning staff who gave me a spare sign she has. I would stay in the hotel if I were to visit Manchester again.
