The hotel and rooms were nice. The room was large and layout was great. But best of all the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Staff worked at making things easy and seamless. The water park was fun and our 10 and 8 year boys loved it all and were worn out. We did not eat at the lodge but ate out and brought snacks so I cannot speak to food. Also we did not purchase any extra activities there either. We did rent a Cabana and enjoyed it and the privacy. Will be going again and only staying 2 nights (swim the day of, after check in and the next day leaving the following) we stayed 3 nights but honestly 2 nights is enough. Went to Grapevine Mall definitely a must as well as in and out burgers. My husband was disappointed there was no workout room which was on the website.

They told me the check in time was 4pm We arrived at 3pm and they let us wait for more than 1.5 hrs to get checked in The staffs at the check in counter were not very friendly and were not willing to help on a simple request. The hallway was very noisy at night and in the early morning I would prefer Kalahari than great wolf.
