This uniquely decorated property is well kept and the room overlooking the canal was beautiful. Staff was helpful. Bar has some food (great fries) but breakfast is pricey. Close enough to Dam Square & Anne Frank Haus to walk, and Van Gogh museum is an easy tram ride away.

Beautiful hotel overlooking canal. Location is nice. Active area but not to crowded like closer into Dam Square. Short walk to all the hot spots. Little longer from the train station, but we did it with luggage easily. Water and snacks in the library. Rooms are small but functional. Would return.

Great location, very good service and very nice room. However we where on a first floor and the room was very noisy at night/early morning which was unpleasant for a good sleep. Garbage truck passed around 6:30/7am each day!

This was a super cute boutique hotel. The room was small but very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and the bed was great. Could walk everywhere from the hotel and grab the canal tour right out front. The breakfast was very nice and the bar was lively and great service too. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was spotlessly clean.staff constantly walking around to tidy up after people and straighten and plump cushions etc. Room was abit small but adequate for what we needed it for. Decor was beautiful everywhere and very elegant. Loved the little biscuits and slices of cake in the blue room which guests could help themselves to with tea or coffee.We didnt like using paper cups for hot drinks in the room and they were very small. We never ate at the hotel as we always ate out

Gorgeous hotel
This hotel is stunning. The decor is positively opulent and the rooms are quite comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot or public transit. The only downside is the rooms are not sound proof, so it is possible to hear your neighbors if they get a little loud. Overall a great stay.

Charming hotel in an excellent location. Central, but looking over a quiet stretch of canal. We walked to many of the tourist sites and also used the trams which are easy to use. The hotel has an adequate breakfast but no restaurant. The big drawback for us was the minuscule room - a “classic double”. It had a canal view, very nice, but was too small for two people. Pay more for a larger room is my advice and I wish I had done that.
