Great location, there was issue with payments upon arrival, so we had to pay many time, still block on my card. I have booked better room but didnt specify king size bed, so we were offered 2 beds. So we agreed to take smaller room.

Kimpton De Witt is located super close to the train station and everything is walkable. We enjoyed our stay! The Bar and Restaurant in the hotel is also great!

Loved my stay at Kimpton DeWitt! From the welcoming front desk staff, to the delicious breakfast and the super comfortable hotel room, this was the perfect hotel for my stay. Loved the close accessibility to everything including Amsterdam Centraal. Kimpton is a name I trust and this location exceeded my expectation.

Short stay before cruise
We stayed at the Kimpton for 2 days prior to our ocean cruise. It is located within walking distance to the train station. It is a bit further to the ship port; we used an Uber. Breakfast was included in our rate and was an excellent buffet with many hot and cold options. There is a late afternoon reception, though we were always out at that time, so did not experience it. The room was large enough and bed comfortable. Its central location is convenient to restaurants and tourist sites. We will be staying here again next year for a river cruise.

Wonderful property, from lobby to room to restaurant and bars. Kindly kept our luggage until a room was available for check in, adjacent to metro stop and walkable to Centraal station. Daily happy hour with wine/beer and snacks. Smelled wonderful and sends you home with a sample bottle of the fragrance to take home with you!

Good hotel, needs to improve its breakfast service
We had a great room and the hotel is in an excellent location close to the train station. Unfortunately there was a long cue for breakfast and unapologetic staff that put a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. I recommend staying here but skipping the breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton De Witt. Staff were very friendly and courteous, the room and hotel was very clean and the restaurant was convenient and welcoming for both breakfast and dinner. I used the gym too which was useful and nice to have. I will definitely return when next in Amsterdam.

The doors and walls seem thin. You can hear a lot around when room service and people walking by otherwise staff is great and also rooms were what was expected. Service was the highlight great teams.
