We got room 105 I believe, the stairs are very steep and dangerous. The room was cute but those stairs aren’t worth the cuteness of the room. It feels like a ladder that was transformed into stairs.

It was really cool for being able to stay in the almost 400-year old building. The location was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was very quiet at night due to the dual pane windows. Highly recommended .

Great renovated rooms in prime location!
Excellent location near Rembrandt Square in a building from 1666. We selected the attic room, which had delightful beams and a VERY steep staircase. The toilet and shower were very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was quiet. Highly recommend!

The rooms are very cool and updated. The stairs were a little steep but that’s just how the buildings are there, I really like the uniqueness of it. I will definitely stay there again when I go back.

Lovely stay and made the occasion perfect
Stayed here for my wifes surprise 40th birthday trip to Amsterdam. The hotel was amazing, we stayed in the Royal Suite with great views of the canal. Wverything about the hotel was perfect.

Bad odour in room
Lots of narrow stairs, room was clean but had a really bad odour. Staff came up right away said it was from shower and had to run water got a bit better but still had the odour. Hotel was full so had to live with it. Kept windows open. It’s a big room and bed was comfortable. We were on the first floor facing The square which can be noisy at night.

This is a cute old building to stay in the center if Amsterdam. Unfortunately because it is just above the bar and restaurant you do not get a chance to sleep well. The hotel provides earplugs, still it is a major drawback. Room was super tiny, we had two suitcases and they barely fit in the room. If you are coming for a short city trip, for shopping and partying - it is perfect as you are in the middle of it.
