Expedia sold King non-smoking and when I checked in, the check-in attendant said they didn't have the room only a double. My husband and I slept on what felt like a twin bed together. It was loud until about 3am, place looked run down and the floor was caving in. No point to continue going on. Just a mess and I wanted a refund.

The front manager was dishonest, when I called about parking the previous day, he said it was $20, the guy at the lot charged $10 and the front desk had a sign with $25. The front manager during checking in was rude and the check out guy did not even acknowledge me when I came to return the key card. The room was dirty, I had to keep my shoes on at all times. The bathroom was ugly with stains on the toilet and sink, the toilet paper holder was broken. The bathroom door would not close so we formed a rule that we would alert each other when using the bathroom. All night there were people outside fighting with each other about money and more. I would not go to another Econolodge ever again, big lapse of judgement on my part.

The rooms need an upgrade. The water pressure was low. It wasn’t very easy to get in the hot tub. There were light switches that weren’t hooked up to anything. The walls need to get fixed. We know it’s an old hotel but could be fixed up. Next time we come down… we won’t be staying there.
