Relaxing
The Finch house was beautiful and rustic! I would definitely stay here again! There is a small creek that runs right behind the house, and the porch is nice to sit and relax. The swing under the house and hammock were a nice touch also. There were plenty of towels upon arrival, the beds were cozy. We didn’t want to leave!

A step above tent camping
This treehouse is cute and the outdoor amenities are inviting. Upon arrival we noticed the beds were made but hastily, disheveled. There was a used bath towel hanging in the bathroom. Hair on the shower walls. It didnt seem the guest experience was important. A note was left stating “internet is tricky but try any combination below”. If you know it’s not reliable...and it’s not. fix it! We were not able to use smart tv at all. Husband missed the game he wanted to stream. At minimum add a digital antenna. Also, not the properties fault but the cell service is poor so you won’t be using your hot spot or looking for things to do in the area. The most pressing issue is the heat! The unit is not sufficient for the space. Unit is placed high on the wall so all the heat rises to the tall ceiling. Pillows had to be placed in front of window by bed to keep draft out as best as possible. Consider having extra blankets. NO heat in bathroom!! A small amount of heat comes in if you leave door open so there is no privacy. The water does get hot quickly. The temp in shower cycles to extremes 90 secs hot, 15 secs frigid. We did not plan to use the fire pit outside but received an email during the stay that hit me as unprofessional. It stated that the igniter was out and that you would have to light manually (no problem) but added you probably won’t have a lighter “because they keep disappearing”. If you can’t fix the internet, smart tv issue at least don’t advertise it

Beautiful view - Rustic-ish Accommodation
There were way too many pros about this cabin to list all of them. My favorite was getting to see deer and birds so closely every day. Everything was also clean and tidy. Our only real issue was upon arrival. At 4pm on the day we came in it was 100 degrees outside. We were hoping to walk into something cool(ish) to alleviate the discomfort. The inside of the cabin felt like it was 80+ degrees. We turned on the electric wall AC unit and it took over 9 hours to get the cabin to 72 degrees. It was a painful night sleep. We did contact the hosts to ask them about the AC after we had been there an hour without any seemingly change in temperature. The response was, "It's a hot time of day (5:30 PM) The AC unit is working it's hardest. It works best when set to 71-72" We waited it out and once it cooled down it stayed comfortable. Some other things to note from 3, 40+ aged women who like to adventure 1. The beds are not comfortable. I slept in the loft and you can feel the springs against you constantly. 2. The comfortable seating situation is minimal inside the cabin. 3. The vent/filter of the AC unit was super dirty We all liked the cabin. None of us thought it was worth the money to stay there.

The property is cute however internet service was poor. Water pressure Bad in shower!
Overall I would give it a B-. That shower pressure was just a trickle. Really sad. The TV was a no go. No internet signal to keep it going. The internet was spotty at best. The cabin was cute and quaint.

Great Cabin for small gatherings
Our group of five did a chill bachelorette party. It wasn’t rowdy or anything just a gathering to meet everyone and relax away from kids. We loved the property the cabin and location were great. It was quiet (besides us lol) and in general we loved this place. My rating is really 4.5 stars only because we had a lot of difficulty with the wifi. While we didn’t really need it, it would have been nice to have been able to play whole movies without them quitting on us (we gave up). Also the water pressure was very light, again not something that any of us were too bothered by; we are all outdoor ladies. So 4.5/5 stars. Would use them again if we ever go out there.

Cute
Overall is a cute, quaint place to stay. A little smaller than what the pictures portrayed, but still very functional and perfect for my group of 3. The drive to Dripping Springs or Wimberley is pretty far. If you want to do a lot of shopping, I would recommend staying closer to town. We spent a lot of time in the car. When we arrived, the toilet had visibly been used for #2 if you know what I mean....I had to clean it. It made me a little concerned for the cleanliness of the rest of the cabin, but seemed to be clean everywhere else. Spotty signal and wifi, but wasn't super important to us since we didn't spend a lot of time there. It's a good place if you are looking to spend a weekend in the country.

NO Thanks
We were super excited to get to this property. The little house looked adorable in the photos and the little write-up about it made it sound perfect. Unfortunately, it was super dirty inside, The rugs had obviously not been vacuumed in a very long time, dead bugs everywhere, another groups food was still stuck in chunks to the counter top, half the chairs on the front porch were broken.... When we got into bed that night there was dirt and hair on the sheets and they didn't even fit the bed properly, they popped off all night long. The write-up about the house advertised that there was a roku tv, and there was, but what was not disclosed was that because of the location in the house there was little to no internet availability so your show spent the entire time "buffering" instead of playing. The back was missing to the remote and every time we picked it up we had to chase the batteries across the floor and put them back in. The front door knob came completely out of the door more than once and my husband finally got some tools out of his truck and fixed it so we could actually use the door and lock. Overall it was not a desirable vacation for us as far as the lodgings were concerned.

Pretty cabin.
The place is good and the community area is very enjoyable. If you have small kids the stairs and the railing are not great for the young ones. The water pressure for taking showers was not that great. The property doesn’t provide any water or coffee so make sure you take your own, it’s a drive away to get those things.

Unique place to stay
Comfortable accommodations. Nice surroundings. Quite place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Only one small issue. Very low water flow, and taking a shower was a real challenge. The water temperature would vary from scalding hot to cold about 10 times during a shower. The low flow made it difficult to rinse well. I am over 6' 3" and 230. A trickle of water isn't going to do a good job. Good place otherwise.
