Gorgeous hotel with a lot of construction around the property. The valet car service cost $62/night and self parking is $50/24 hours which is staggering. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The rooftop pool is amazing and the rooms are spacious. Their bath products are wonderful. They also charge a resort fee and then give you $25 in food credit that cannot be used at the coffee shop. I have traveled all over the world and never heard of all these strange extra charges and combinations.

Excellent Staycation.
The ambience of walking into Fairmont Austin was peaceful. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly. Our room was ready for us, very clean, and smelled lovely. Many amenities were offered. The room was very dark and quiet at night. Bed was cozy. Our view was over the pool. The gym and spa were exceptional. We hung out poolside, on a Saturday; it was very crowded, as expected. Would recommend getting to the pool as early as possible to find a spot.

Stay here & upgrade to the lounge.
Jesse was terrifically welcoming. Absolutely loved the Gold lounge, would recommend this add-on for anyone considering a stay here. It is on the 35th floor. EXCELLENT food for breakfast & canapés . Loved The Revue restaurant awesome good & drinks, even though a bit short on atmosphere. Main lobby bar extremely loud. We avoided it.

Expected more from a 4-star hotel. Had to wait long for room to be prepared & long to pick up room keys once texted that it was ready. Once in room, found it dusty, dated, & noisy from traffic below. Shower was the worst, once one exits shower found out the hard way, the bathroom floor was wet and flooded from taking a shower. Had to use several towels to soak up excess water. Hard pass on stating here for the cost in the future. Its feels more of a 3-star than 4-star hotel.
