Overnight stay
This was a 2nd overnight stay whilst visiting friends in the area. This is an older property with bags of charm and character. Julie , who I think is the owner , is both friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable . Breakfast in the lovely conservatory overlooking the garden, was delicious with a good choice of cereals, juice and yoghurts followed by a freshly cooked breakfast . There is plenty of parking and there appear to be a couple of pubs and restaurants near by. I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending the hotel , and we will certainly stay again when we next visit the area .

Welcoming place.
Great place to stop. Gentleman who met us and served us breakfast was very helpful and friendly. His knowledge of area and hotel was excellent. Bedrooms were warm and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, range was great. Plenty of places to eat on a night nearby. Car parking was adequate.

There was no Bible in the room. I've contacted the hotel about this and not had a reply which is disappointing. The food was spot on (my mother would have preferred streaky bacon but I'm sure there are others who would prefer non streaky). The check in is done by keys in envelopes at the door when you arrive and SMS text messages, no face to face contact. The room was fine, nothing to complain about (apart from the missing Bible). The hotel was used by surviving members of the dam busters squadron. Overall, happy with this stay.
