Central hotel - good for couoles
Very central location to La Rambla. Nice and clean hotel, room was good, not much natural light but that’s to be expected in the old city area where the streets are narrow. Good enough selection at breakfast even if a little chaotic

Hotel Barcelona House
Difficult to find, off Las Ramblas, but a good location. The area around the hotel is very noisy with people walking the narrow street until very late into the night (4:00 am). Small room, newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast was a buffet and good. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all questions and inquiries! There is a lounge near the front desk that provides space to relax and plan your day.

Clean, helpful staff
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Let us leave our luggage when our cruise got in early so we didn't have to lug it around the city and sightsee.

Hotel is fine BUT Gothic Qtr. full of crime-beware
Barcelona House Hotel is in the Gothic Quarter near Colom restaurant. I waited 45 minutes for a table and got tainted fish. Sick 24 hours. The streets are filled with crime and drugs. Don’t recommend this city for traveling to. The local men were so very macho and the women were oppressed. Saw a man mugged, beaten up and his belongings stolen at noon. Hotel was noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, good luck sleeping, a band plays next door until 2 am. Hotel did offer nice breakfast and clean rooms daily.

Very nice staff on the desk and in the dining room. Typical Hotel Room was very clean and spacious. Big bathroom and shower. Breakfast was more than adequate with meats, cheeses, bread/buns, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, big choice of pastries, cereals, juice & tea & coffee's of all types. Nice location just off the Rambla. Short walk to Metro and airport bus.

Room was very small, bed against wall so bit tricky for one of us to decamp during the night. Other than that it was ok. Breakfast was a bit fraught as every chose the same time so, bit of a bun fight. Not enough seats, otherwise ok. Putting cold milk other side of the breakfast room to the cornflakes seemed odd!

Excellent modern hotel in Gothic Quarter. Renovated 5 years ago. Very comfortable beds, good size bathroom. Great buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Lifts! Awesome location, surrounded by restaurants, shops, close to Metro. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. Gave excellent advice re the passport being pickpocketed, since it was close to the neighborhood police station. Big bathroom. Comfy beds. Large patio doors and windows.
