I stayed here on business - a good experience, though it felt a little like stepping back in time. Staff were excellent, food OK (good breakfast, though it took a while to come as one lady seemed to be doing everything, and several tables arrived at the same time (worth waiting for))
Stayed in a single room - interesting key position one the door - soft bed, no towels rail, open the window and you're right over the staff smoking/ chatting entrance - small TV, and no light over the desk, making working uncomfortable. I'd stay again, if for no other reason than it was a really welcoming place. I guess it'd be a good place for anyone exploring Sherwood??
