Our first point of contact from Four Points Sheraton was Ardan, who picked us from and to the ferry terminal. He was communicative, prompt and extremely hospitable -- which helped to create a positive first & last impresssion.
Absolutely love the breakfast spread which was diverse in local offerings. Location was wonderful, easy to Gojek around. Hotel was clean and bedding was very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided ear plugs as there was a buzzling night market situated directly next to the hotel.
Would consider re-booking with the hotel for my next stay if they are able to improve on the following areas:
1) Train more staff to be more fluent in English
2) Change spa operator that is more befitting to the Sheraton/ Marriott Bonvoy branding -- Seem to have a clubbing playlist featuring Rihanna's Umbrella; wasn't equipped with a POS to support digital payment and had to rely on the hotel's POS; Spa's receptionist was not fluent in English and looked flustered when we wanted to book a 9pm slot (even though operating hours stated they closed at 12 midnight). Receptionist tried to convince us to book an earlier slot.
3) Train chefs that man all live cook stations -- e.g. For breakfast, my sunny side up was too runny. And unfortunately, due to low fluency in English, when both chefs were told to re-cook it longer, they misunderstood the request and tossed out the eggs. For Dinner BBQ, to cook thick fish fillets longer.
