I liked the peacocks, the "other worldly" nature of the property, its magnificent high ceinged rooms and sense of space; that for a little bit more money one could change a pitstop inton a rare treat.

Trip was spoilt as I was told there was plenty of availability for the restaurant but when I went to book they told be by hey were fully booked but it was half empty and 40 mins before last orders so no one else coming in. Not what I would expect from a hotel of that standard and it spoilt my stay. I reached out a few times to the hotel for an explanation but they have ignored me. I also reached out to reception staff on the day but they just said it was the decision of the restaurant manager. It’s a shame as it’s a beautiful hotel and the peacocks are a big draw but I won’t be visiting again.

Relaxing weekend in the countryside
Really great stay at Pendley Manor. Second time visitor and hope to be back again. Nice vibes in the Shakespeare bar, had a beautiful dinner in the oak room on Saturday evening after a dip in the pool and warm sauna. Tring station within walking distance for those that don’t drive. Staff incredibly helpful and we were kindly given a surprise room upgrade on arrival.

Lovely hotel and spa
Just got back from spending a night here was well maintained clean, staff were very friendly. Dinner at restaurant was very nice with good range of food on menu, breakfast had wide range of food hot and cold. Spa experience was excellent however requested two massages for 60 but was charged separately.
