Out usual stop off en route south is well enabled by a simple comfortable stay at Mercure Beaune. Dinner was also goof if service a bit chaotic. Overall very good.

Great location near the town center in easy walking distance. But the best part is the secure parking within the hotel grounds - gates are closed at night. Smallish room, and efficient check in.

The front desk staff was Very helpful. We had a train schedule problem with a called taxi ride not showing up, they worked together & came up with a solution. Got to the train station in the nick of time. So Grateful!

Excellent hotel for a stopover, welcoming staff with a special shout-out to the barman. Room was well equipped with everything you could need and a newly renovated bathroom. Great breakfast!
