Property is absolutely best possible location for Surface Paradise Rooms was small-but the upkeep was a little lacking - the body wash and conditioner were both empty - and when requested they replaced the body wash - but left the conditioner emty - at the sink there was another bottle of shampoo ! a bottle of body lotion -but no soap or hand wash Parking was adequate- but whilst there was disabled parking spaces - probably not enough - but worse the few available were almost always occupied - most by vehicles not displaying a disability sticker (something easily rectified as "to improperly occupy a disabled parking space without displaying ..." is a federal and state offence with a fine of $800 plus GST = $880 - surely a an appropriate signage and a willingness to enfore the law --> proceede to prosecution would help. During my stay - I was to occupy a disabled parking space just once - the evening of my first (of 6 nights) night

The hilton should be better, the little things that used to make it special are gone, no amenity packs, no toothbrush, no bath salts, juat some bodywash afixed to the wall. Also extrem staff shortage, I guess Management initiative, room was not cleaned by 16:30, after a whole day out, this is unexpectable. While the room was really quite nice, the noise from outside was unbearable, party till 3am and 5:30 rubbish collection. Don't bother with the Hilton, any hotel will do

I had to line up to check in which took some time waiting for other customers to ask many stupid questions There should be a online check in like other places do Awesome view and position in Surfers, right in the middle of everything I was lead to believe that I would have a spa or jetted bath in my room This was a really big let down for me Room was clean and beautiful looking There is no price list for the mini bar, I looked very hard for one, that's just not right considering how mini bars are notoriously overpriced

Had booking month in advance but even though I spoke to staff three times prior to check in was not informed of airshow and road blockages that would stop us getting access to the hotel unless we walked without baggage crowd and distance Until five in the afternoon after getting there at two which ruined partner‘s birthday and management offered her a cocktail Compensation also Rager come to parking. There was lots of confusion. Many people were in the same boat and management pretty much said we couldn’t follow basic instructions. Very rude. Will not be staying again.
