They’re working on an addition to the building and the work continues past 9:00 at night! Loud banging and clanking is constant. Add to that a shower where the water temperature never gets more than lukewarm and you get a miserable experience. Am I really going to pay for this?!

Nice hotel (excellent top floor restaurant) but they are undergoing construction so the rooms next to the new addition are very noisy and only have a view of a brick wall. The staff are very kind and offered to move me to the other side of the building but I elected to move to another hotel and they refunded the rest of my stay. Ensure you request a sea view and you will be fine.

I could walk to the water taxi and meet the locals along the way, and that was good. Certainly, the surrounding neighborhood needs to improve, but talking with the locals gave me reason to believe that overtime the neighborhood will improve. After all the moto in Belize is "Go-Slow".

The staff was wonderful however there was construction happening just outside of our rooms and it was noisy well into the evening. The hotel was very nice and provided complimentary breakfast at their restaurant for everyday of our stay though to help make up for the construction. The restaurant staff was quote lovely and even froze the fish we caught for us until we were ready to leave.

Great hotel in Belize City. Has a store in the lobby area with lots of souvenir options. the restaurant had a nice variety of dishes. Super convenient that they also have a shuttle to the airport.
