Great, secluded location (on top of the dunes, overlooking other dunes - relatively far from the city and other camps, unlike many others). Shinoj (who seems to be running the camp's operations) was friendly and helpful. Both the dinner and the breakfast were good, making Omani bread with the owner was a nice experience!
On the downside, the camp felt a bit expensive at almost USD 300 for a night - you have to pay in addition for deflating and inflating your tires (we thought this would be paid for by the property at this level), there is also no hot water for showering. I was also asked first to pay on the spot for our stay, while I already paid on Expedia. Apparently, the property has issues with some guests and OTAs - however, it is not the job of new guests to figure this out & arguing about this is not a nice beginning to a stay.
