Our stay at the Mai Tai Polynesia was amazing. There were no over the water bungalows available online when we booked a reservations but something opened up when we got there and Julia assisted us with upgrading. She was very kind and so helpful. It was so worth it. There are coral reefs right below the bungalows and we were able to snorkel right from our deck. The customer service was amazing. The rooms are large. The food is good. They have free kayaking which we took advantage of and there is a coral garden right across the lagoon from the resort that we kayaked to several times. We saw turtles many rays lots of fish right from our deck. It is also located a five minute walk from Matira Beach the only public beach. It had wonderful snorkeling and was not ever crowded. I highly recommend this resort.

Beautiful property and room. Great food options. And quality customer service (Jimmy in particular was excellent at making sure we were happy with our stay)
