A mixed experience. While the resort has some redeeming qualities, significant shortcomings made it difficult to fully enjoy our time there.
Pros:
- The resort itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment.
- The swimming pool was enjoyable and offered a nice place to relax.
- Extras such as water, soft drinks, and beer were reasonably priced, adding some convenience.
- The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions.
- Front desk was kind and professional
Cons:
- Breakfast was the major disappointment. Not only was it repetitive with little to no variety, but if you arrived after 9 AM, there was often very little food left. This is unacceptable for a resort catering to so many guests.
- The professionalism of the staff needs serious improvement. For instance, our bed sheets were not changed for five days, despite the daily housekeeping.
- The resort’s management of sunbeds was chaotic. With only around 30 available for nearly 500 tourists, securing one was impossible unless you bribed the security staff—an unacceptable and unethical practice we saw happening regularly.
- The resort’s policies felt unnecessarily strict, making us feel as though we had to be overly cautious to avoid unexpected charges, including for something as minor as leftover food. This created a sense of discomfort throughout our stay.
- Overall, the poor service and lack of attention to guest experience have led us to decide not to return to Henan
