My spouse and I stayed two nights to beat the heat while waiting for A/C to be installed in our home, choosing the Fairfield Inn because it is closest to where we live. What a happy surprise! Our room was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been recently upgraded. The king bed was very comfortable. Room design was good in terms of how the space was used, so that the two of us did not feel cramped. But the people were the best. Every staff member we met (front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping) was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. This gave a personal feel to the hotel. We have frequent out-of-town visitors, who usually stay at hotels on Route 9 for convenience. This location may be a little off the beaten track, but the extra 15 minutes drive is every bit worth the peace and quiet. Also, low traffic noise translates into better sleep quality. So we're going to be recommending this hotel a lot!

Ok. 3rd floor away from front door. Cart to put bags on was on really hard to move. Wheels seemed stuck. Barely fit on elevator. Difficult to get bags up to 3rd floor. I’m in my 80s. Visit for furneral and visit with very sick friend. Really didn’t need this hastle late evening

A very clean room, comfortable bed, and quiet environment. I made use of the in-room refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was very nicely prepared. Kudos to the manager of that area. You can tell she takes pride in her work.
