I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a hotel. The way the staff handled a situation during my stay was not just unprofessional—it was downright disrespectful and intimidating. A hotel should make guests feel comfortable and valued, but that was far from the case here.
The receptionist was unwelcoming from the start, giving me an uncomfortable first impression when we arrived late. Later, my family received a horrifying noise complaint threat. My parents don’t speak English, and my brother only speaks a little. The receptionist came to the room, repeatedly knocked while my family was quietly getting ready for bed, and used a threatening tone, saying, “If you make more noise, I will…”
Think about it—do you want to be treated this way? If normal conversation or settling in for the night triggers a noise complaint, Freepoint seriously needs to reconsider its soundproofing system.
I would never feel safe settling my family in this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The lack of basic respect and professionalism from the staff is unacceptable. Turn to other hotels—you deserve better.
