What an absolutely stunning hotel. Right in the centre of Salem, adjacent to the beautiful Common, and literally over the road from Essex Street. The lobby was cosy and the staff were warm and friendly. Rooms were excellent, and we genuinely wished we'd stayed longer.

The location is the best! Centered right around everything you would want to walk to in Salem. I personally loved the age and history of the hotel itself as well.

PERFECT location. The "character" was spot on for why we were in Salam. Lots of historic charm and character. But if you're looking for updated comfort this isn't your hotel. Think peeling wallpaper, old carpet, tile and grout and small spaces.
