When we arrived late at 7pm we checked in and the parking garage was full of trash and leaves. There was a wedding happening at the hotel, which was fine we were able to get dinner. Then go up to bed as we had a 6am wake up. At 1am, which we thought was 2am because our clock was set an hour fast inaccurately on the room, loud yelling and the smell of weed came from the hall. To this I looked out the peephole and many people in the room across had the door open with drinks yelling for guest to come in and out of the room. I waited to see if it would pass but I had two children who needed rest as well. I called the front desk to notify them and they said they would send security. I waited as it escalated with profanity yelled and doors slamming. It continued for two hours to which I didn’t feel safe opening my door to ask to please stop. The yelling and weed continued all night long. I’ve always chosen Marriott as a safe place for me and my chidlren and this was the worst night I’ve ever had there with no help from the staff. I felt exhausted and uncomfortable all night, to me this is unacceptable and it ruined our travel day.

The receptionist at check in was not very friendly- seemed to be bothered and confused by the fact we had a special rate, and almost charged us incorrectly with incorrect # of days. The hotel room itself was lovely- but check in experience could have been a lot friendlier & welcoming.

Hotel is fine. Room is good, lots of power outlets. Room fridge is stupid small. Most annoying thing is that they charge for parking. $15 and there is nothing to walk to no other way to even get to the hotel outside of an uphill mile long walk or an uber. I mean come on, so sleazy if you ask me. And similarly they charge you for wifi, even if you have a bonvoy account. You have to stop at the front desk at check out to have tge charge removed. If i had known this all before booking maybe i wouldnt be so annoyed. But you literally have to park your car before even getting to the front desk. Seems like strong arming a nickle and a dime from people who unknowingly made non-refundable reservations.

Overcharged and still dealing with horrible, petty, childish management that will not refund me my money. It is unauthorized and they do not care. I still have an incidental hold from July 5. It’s not my bank, it’s them. If they say that do not listen. They held all kinds of money for two weeks. They left me and my children with no AC for 4 days. There is in fact over 9 rooms not working properly. I complained that the man who fixed the AC after leaving us with it for that long got stagnant water all over my daughters clothing ruining brand new items and they told me I would get a refund. Instead they have taken further money and caused me so much unneeded stress. He opened a panel in the wall and did not tell us this would happen or even communicate at all. He just let it go everywhere. I have pictures of it all. I did not even complain about any of this until they started giving me a certain room rate and charging whatever they felt they wanted. My discharge folio says one thing and then I have another one from then with it charged instead of refunded. Nobody will help you at Marriott Bonvoy either! You are better off to go third party because at least you get help. They just keep sending all my complaints and problems over to management who does NOTHING. Stay far away from this place! The chlorine in the pool burns your skin as well.
