cant expect much from a red roof inn, good rates, nice staff, quiet area, and rooms were decently clean. couple stains here and there but nothing major. would stay again!

I’ve stayed here several times but was disappointed with the room this visit. When I went into the room it had just been sprayed with a heavy/fragrant air freshener. I had to keep the door open to stop from choking on the smell. I went out for several hours hoping it would be better when I returned. I suspect it was done to cover up the smell of smoke in the non-smoking room. Unfortunately the smell never went away and I got back so late that I was too tired to change rooms. Also, the floors were so sticky that my slip-on shoes were coming off of my feet when I walked. So definitely didn’t walk on the floor without shoes on. Also, the tv remote was equally sticky. I ended up wrapping a face cloth around it so it wouldn’t stick to my hands. I’m hoping it was the cleaning products that made it so sticky and not something else! On a positive note, the woman that checked me in was lovely and very friendly!

Worst Experience Ever
This was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. For the past 15 years I have stayed at the same Red Roof. Ambrosia was the individual who checked us in. Not overly friendly and our room was not ready. After deciding to put us in room 136, my partner and I entered the room. The floors were sticky and It was so hot in the room, we turned down the thermostat to 50 and it was still too hot. The A/C unit is so loud so we were unable to cool the room overnight and because they are under renovation, we had no access to open the windows as they were sealed shut and covered in plastic wrap. The safety lock on the door was broken, there was a very bad odour to the room. The tub was disgusting stained so we did not use it at all. Kleenex, what you don’t provide anymore?! So we had to blow our noses with toilet paper. When checking out there was a guy who was not very nice. He asked us for our room keys, I gave him my card and he berated my partner when he pulled out his wallet that he didn’t need his ID, when he was actually getting his key card out. I told him not to be so rude!!!! There was never a question if we like our stay or not!!

I like the trees on the property. We saw deer. The bathroom had stains on the wall. We could not see through our windows because the windows were covered over with painting drop sheets. There was garbage on the property and when my family checked in, someone was able to rent a room to use for an hour.

Hotel was undergoing renovations that weren’t advertised anywhere. Room was clean, however staff weren’t the most welcoming and appliances were outdated. Experience could have been better.
