The hotel manager and house keepers behaved very badly, and rudely with me. The house keeper shut the door very badly upon me when they were cleaning my room. They wanted me to leave the room and when I left the room and asked them if I can take my phone charger and other stuff from inside the room. The house keeper closed the room very badly and angrily upon me. It seems she is paying for the room and has the full authority for my belongings and contents inside the room. I faced a very hard time today even though I got my room cleaned after two days. Besides, the manager too behaved very rudely with me and told me to check out tomorrow. Though I had the check out time till 12:00 pm in their notice. But, still the manager want me to check out by 11:00 am tomorrow. Besides, the manager said if I make any reservations online, he will not check me in with considering no refunds. Hence, I have to leave the place as early as possible because of no security here in Metro inn ( Ramada limited Calgary Northwest) hotel.

Should be your last option.
Not very friendly or cooperative. Lacks people skills and was not helpful at all. Building needs some major renovations and extricate rules about smoking in the rooms.

This is one hotel that should be mowed down. Black mold, peeling paint, grubby floors and walls. The place was full so i couldn't change rooms. The pool is small and the grout is black with grime. The maid is cleaning with an old shop vac, so you know its not getting clean. They charged the lady checking out ahead of me 25$ for hair left in the shower.

Avoid at all costs. The hotel rooms were extremely basic and dirty. There was a strong, unpleasant odour in the room, and the bed sheets were not even clean. Additionally, the restroom door lock was not functioning. How can you use the restroom without being able to close the door? We had a difficult night. We had 4 rooms in total, and the rest of the family members were having similar or worse issues, like bed bugs, clogged washrooms, dirty bedsheets, and bad smells from the rooms. We complained to the duty guy, but he said he didn't have any other room and that we could complain to the manager in the morning. When we complained to the manager, he simply said we have limited resources. Overall, we were very unhappy with the hotel and the rooms.

Best photographer award goes to….
Photos on the website are extremely misleading. Rooms are very old and falling apart- like holes in the wall, doors and windows broken and not closing, air conditioning broken, etc. the rooms were not clean, full of mold and other unmentionable splatters on walls and all over the bathrooms. Everything was in need of repair or replacement. The front desk staff, however were very pleasant and friendly and when we asked for one of our rooms to be recleaned they made sure it was done better, although attention to detail was still lacking as there was still build up of dust, hair and dirt in the corners but at least the tub was no longer black. Overall, would not recommend.

The place is filthy and has bed bugs and roaches. Bathrooms are dirty and have mold . Carpets have stains and smell terrible. Doors dont lock andbed lines are dirty. Management was notified about bed bigs and roaches and they were useless and did nothing. It seems lije they dont care once rooms are paid for.

Metro Inn occupies what used to be a Ramada Inn. It’s a bit run down but functional. Despite feeling old, it was clean. All we needed was a place to stay on our road trip and it did the trick. The staff was accommodating. The first room we were placed in had a leaky ceiling and they were able to find us another room. The pool was small but kids had fun. If you’re just there for one night, I highly recommend it. If you’re planning a longer stay I’d look for something a bit nicer.

The phone didn't work. The website said all the rooms have a microwave, which was not true. The shower knob was broken, the tub was stripped of enamel and it looked dirty and gross. The blankets and duvet were extremely old and worn out. The room had a very unclean smell and feel. And the air conditioner did not work. But we couldnt open the window because there wasnt a screen on it. I told some of my concerns to the front desk guy. He just said ok. I dont think he understood what I said about the shower knob being broken or anything I said really.
