Overall, the property was functional with a good kitchen, good space in general, super storage in the main bedroom, great pressure in the shower, and plenty of hot water.
Sadly, when we first arrived at the home, the neighbourhood and the house itself was quite overgrown with grass, hedges, and weeds. On top of this, this property's rubbish bin was so full that the lid could not close. It was not a comforting welcome to the property.
The check-in/access to the property was easy and straight forward for anyone who had used a key safe before.
Once inside, there was a bit of technology, like the front door which was challenging for us as we had never seen anything like it. There were instructions related to locking it and opening it from the outside, but not the inside.
There were maintenance issues inside, but mostly minor. I've alerted the manager and hopefully they will be dealt to soon.
Be aware that the dining table only has benches to sit on.
The decor was nice. The couch was not very comfortable for long term use, like watching TV at night. The TV was good with good selection of channels.
The king bed in the back bedroom was acceptable, but not super comfortable. After several nights on it, it felt a bit lumpy and hard.
We were there during one of the warmest spells of weather in the summer. Most of the time, the air circulation through the house was sufficient to keep it comfortable.
The property is very functional. Its proximity to Cambridge is great
