The Happy Return
Second visit to this location. Extremely well equipped in the centre of the town. Owner next door, on hand to reveal the secret of the door lock. Hope the vine gives a good vintage this year.

Lovely Carantec
We spent 4 nights in Catherine's house. It is very clean and cosy and we felt comfortable. We loved going on walks including to the island. We swam at the beach (a bit cold). We enjoyed going to the market today. A lovely place to stay and explore.

I have been coming to this area for 35 years and have never had a better home for my stay. I would recommend this to everyone but beware there are some 13 steepish stairs to the bedroom.

Wonderful host, fabulous location
Catherine our host met us on arrival and has a wonderful apartment. She gave us all the necessary information that we needed for a successful week of touring. The location is right in the center of Carantec and you can walk to all the necessary shops. The town also has a large supermarket within a very short drive, We had a wonderful week and would return to Catherine's well equiped apartment.

Great Little House
Very clean, neat and tidy and the owners were extremely helpful even to the point of lending us some DVDs to use during our stay. This was an ideal base for touring that part of Brittany which we had passed through many times before but had never explored. Excellent beaches locally complimented with some really good restaurants, in particular the Ty Pot just across the road. Although it is right next to the church, the bells stop ringing in the evening and do not start again until 8.00am. All in all an excellent little house which was ideal for our needs.

Well situated, well equipped, compact house in the centre of Carantec
Before the visit we had good communication with Mme L'Hen, the landlady. The property is situated just by the church in the town centre and is a couple of minutes walk from a boulangerie (or two), a bar (or two), a mini-market, a crêperie and the tourist office, and is in easy walk of the port and local beaches. If you want to stay in-town this is a great location with all the amenities right on-hand. The house is compact, there is a living room-dining room-kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is modern has the essentials (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cooker) and has plenty of saucepans, cutlery etc. The top floor has a small toilet/shower room and the bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed and another, single bed, on a mezzanine floor. One good thing about this house is that there is lots of storage space for clothes, toiletries, shoes, coats etc. Carantec was a great base for our short trip - we hired bicycles and explored the area; we drove to various nearby places including Morlaix and Roscoff; we visited the Chateau de Taureau by boat from Carantec, and visited the Ille de Batz by boat from Roscoff.

We had a lovely few days stay in your superb property It has every thing that you might need and all so superbly clean tidy and comfortable. Carentec has some nice shops, the boulangerie was very close. It was a nice walk downhill to the Old Port. There are some nice restaurant's nearby also

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Carantec
Well appointed cottage in the heart of the delightful village of Carantec. Friendly owners and everything you need for a stay close to the beaches of Carantec. We were pleased to have taken a DVD player and DVDs as there isn't one supplied. We felt the cottage was ideal for 2 although there is a sofa bed in the living area downstairs and a bed in the attic mezzanine above the 1st floor bedroom. We will definitely book again.

The house was as described, centrally located with good shops, restaurants, amenities and the beach all within walking distance. The house was neat and well equipped and the owner charming and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in Carantec. It is a lovely village with friendly locals, amazing beaches and great bars and shops. An excellent place to relax we wish we had stayed longer. The house is perfect and there is everything you need. Catherine and her husband are very friendly and helpful.

This is a very well equipped and maintained house. There are all the needed amenities. The salon and the bedroom are spacious and comfortable. Catherine is a marvelous host, warm and welcoming. She is always ready to help and will provide you with all necessary information about Carantec and the environs. The house is situated in the very center of Carantec and is easy to find. If we decide to go to this town some day we will certainly try to book this gîte again.

A lovely little gem of a place in the centre of Carantec
We had a wonderful stay at Catherine's lovely house in the centre of Carantec. Everything was as it seemed in the photos, clean and fresh with lovely welcoming touches such as jams and bath products. The house is ideally situated in the centre of town in walking distance of shops and beaches. Catherine was a very attentive host and flexible about arrival and departure times. A lovely place for a short break for two, we thoroughly recommend it and would love to stay again sometime. It is a beautiful spot. Rebecca

Charmante FeWo in charmanter Umgebung
Süßes kleines Haus direkt im Ortskern. Für 2 Leute super geeignet - bei mehr als drei Leuten wäre es mir persönlich etwas zu klein, ist aber letztendlich Geschmackssache. Alles notwendige ist in der Wohnung vorhanden und die sehr freundliche Vermieterin wohnt nebenan, falls mal was ist. Ein gut ausgestatteter Gemischtwarenladen, Bäcker und verschiedene Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke, ein großer Supermarkt ist ebenfalls nicht allzu weit weg (ca. 20 min zu Fuß). Von hier aus kann man zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder mit dem Auto wunderbar die Landschaft und die umliegenden Ortschaften erkunden. Ich habe den Aufenthalt trotz des nicht ganz optimalen Wetters sehr genossen. Klare Empfehlung!
