Arrived in Cedar Rapids on a late flight, and had a reservation. It was 30 degrees, snowing and blowing outside. When we arrived at the Cedar Rapids Motel 6 Airport location the desk clerk said he couldn’t check us in because his computer was down. They had plenty of rooms but wouldn’t give us one, even though I could show we had a reservation. How is this acceptable? I would think you better get a way to check in people who have reservations, when the “computer” is down, so this doesn’t continue to happen to someone else.
