Convenient
Most hotel options in Charleston are along a busy freeway, so this is no exception. Be prepared for traffic sounds, trains and noise from other rooms. The property lacked lighting at the porte-cochere at night but was on during the day. Happy for the pet option.

WHAT A BREAKFAST!!!!
We enjoyed our stay at Country Inn and Suites. The breakfast was awesome with many selections. They also offer little extras such as fruit, homemade cookies, and coffee or tea in the lobby! The desk staff was very helpful when we asked for a tv guide. One thing to mentionā€¦the online ad for this hotel says there is a hot tub but it has been closed down. That wouldā€™ve been nice to know as I was looking forward to it. However, we would stay here again as we were very comfortable, it was quiet and as I mentioned, we loved the breakfast!

Door was broken off its hinges and had to ā€œpushedā€ back in place. Room smelled like Lysol and the cleaning staff left their key in the bed. We checked in late so there was nothing they could do.

There were blood stains all over pillows, Blankets, carpets. Felt really unsafe. Never ever going to stay in another Country Inn. Worst experience ever. I would give ZERO rating.

We were first checked into a room already occupied. Then late that night someone else was checked into our room and we were startled awake when they tried to enter. The next morning we had to make multipe trips up/down to the desk get our key to work again. The elevator was broken and the stairwell was soaking wet and slippery from a broken AC unit. Overall, not a good experience.

This hotel has 0 maintenance. It has got everything possible thing wrong that you can imagine. We were given rooms that were not ready. The housekeeper tried to put on dirty linen. Bathroom sink was dirty. The gym was in bad shape. Every corner of the facility severely lacks maintenance and up keep. Stay here only if you have no other choice.
