After a disastrous experience at another hotel with a virtual checkin desk, we nearly cancelled our booking. So glad we didn't. Fabulous room, very well equipped, very clean, and check in instructions were fool proof. Highly recommend this accommodation.

I've stayed at this Kasa twice, each for a week-long stay. First time last year was great, no complaints. This time was last week and it was a totally different experience. I booked my stay months in advance and requested an apt on a higher level; I was given a 1st flr unit, fine. I asked to be moved to a higher floor as soon as I checked in. Around 8p they said a unit would be ready the next day after it was cleaned. First night was awful, the wall that the bed was against was shared w/ an entryway wall. We heard the door open/ close & people walking the hall night. We REALLY needed to transfer apts. No communication from Kasa the next day, I sent an email in the afternoon. Several hrs and many messages later they finally said the apt was ready at 6:30p (although check in is 4pm). It took 90 more min. and countless messages for them to give me the door code to the new place. They offered no assistance to help me move my things (even though I mentioned several times that I was there with my elderly mom who has dementia). Their instructions were often contradictory, the on-site doesnt communicate well with the off-site customer assistance and then they also send automated responses. New place was on the 3rd floor, much smaller, was missing items (few kitchen supplies, pillows, extra lamps). Worst of all, theres a construction site next door; building more apts. Every morning they began pounding and knocking from 7a to 6p!! They should have told me in advance!

I have to say home away from home was definitely received. It was an amazing area to be and from where I was I could see the lights downtown. I definitely would recommend this property to everyone. The only downfall is the check-in, wish it could be earlier than 3:30pm but other then that, itā€™s amazing

I loved the place. Clean, spacious, great windows with downtown views, very nice kitchen and dining area. Location quiet, safe with secure gate, very close to downtown, with very good communication to Piney Creek and Biltmore Estate. It was a pleasure stay at Kasa overall. The first unit we reside in has severe water leak issue and we communicated with the team and had the maintenance sent around 1am. We got the help to move to a new unit (which is a 1b1b, upgraded from the studio we originally booked). We managed to get more rest in the following 2-day stay and appreciate the responsiveness of the team. Only downsides were that the floor appears to be pretty thin - we could hear the person upstairs pacing and the alarm that went off at 4am! Not a fan for the white noise speaker provided so we were waken up a few times during the night due to the noise upstairs; and that the swimming pool was closed and under maintenance during our whole stay. However the community place is very nice and the gym is very complete so we enjoyed our stay here overall although certainly there are some spaces for the property to improve.

Best stay ever!
The best stay ever! The unit has everything we need. It has washer and dryer, electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, spacious and clean living room and bedroom. Location is close to Uptown Charlotte which was very convenient. I recommend this place. Staying longer would have been ideal because of the amenities this place has.

Pros: - very nice looking - in unit washer and dryer - two TVs - bedroom area not in direct sunlight - glasses and dishes - full size refrigerator - multiple electrical outlets - room feels very large - lots of light fixtures - extra blanket in closet - detailed instructions sent to phone - Helpful live customer service chat - daily trash pickup except for weekends - White noise machine on bedside table Cons: - you can hear the train - you cannot seal tub to take bath - walls are very thin, could hear the people next door talking and closing cabinets from my bed while they were in their kitchen area - can't use door fob to open room, only outside door - bed not put together well, very squeaky - ceiling fan loose and squeaky irregularly - no curtains over the blinds - not a lot of parking close to entrances - pool was closed - no breakfast - only one bedside table and it was a small tree stump - no ice machine? - Even with the rain machine on I could hear the person above me stomping around at midnight

Stayed here due to proximity to person I was visiting in Charlotte. Booked a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. Was given a studio with no balcony and only a partial wall between living area and "bedroom." Eventually received a partial refund, but it was a real hassle (they claimed they had no more units like the one I reserved). I was awakened second night at 1:30 a.m. by music and singing in next unit (walls pretty thin). Response to immediate complaint took ONE HOUR. Went to the pool one day and four little kids were there, running, screaming jumping all over the place; no one at the property intervened. Very unpleasant. Didn't feel particularly safe, either. Everything is done with key fobs and door codes; are they changed every time residency changes? It's a shame, because this could be a nice property (good location and new, with washer/dryer) if management was more attentive. Overall, mediocre experience.
