Beautiful hotel and staff members were great and very accommodating. I was able to check in early and leave late without any issues. Positive experience with the Vallet services. Devin checked us in and out and was wonderful. Would stay again!

Holiday parade getaway
The service was impeccable from top to bottom. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The downsides were the first room we were in, had a broken HVAC motor So we had to be moved to a new room. The bathroom had one small hook, so the second person to take a shower had nowhere to put their towel. The pillows were very flat so we had to double them up in order to sleep comfortably. The entire hotel was very clean, And the location was great!

Was excited to stay for the lights parade. Unfortunately I could not see the parade from my room window. It was a short walk to Michigan ave. There was a heat issue in the room that was concerning but overall things were good.

My experience at this hotel was terrible. I travel quite a bit and often go to Marriotts and their brand of hotels around the world. All in all, I have been to tens of their properties, and this one is, by far, the worst. They "renovated" but stopped midway. The windows, for example, are not super clear; they are wavy, and they seem like a single pane of glass in an aluminum frame that is neither noise nor cold-proof. The armchair in the room was stained and wet-ish; it took them two days to replace it. I ordered room service, and the sandwich they brought me was an industrial/gas station sandwich (and not talking Wawa here, I wished!). The nightstand lamp has a USB port, which did not work. They never did anything despite telling them. Be careful if you're tired and hope to charge your phone/alarm clock... I asked them five times to add my reservation to my app. Their only answer was, "You booked through a 3rd party; we can't do that." It took them five times to give me such an answer, which is probably a lie (so if I book through Expedia, I can't use their digital key?). Let's pass on the stains on the wall, the bad finis, and having only one glass when the reservation was for two. Most of the complaints are not that important, but the arrogance and non-challan attitude of the staff makes it pretty terrible. Don't go there. I wish I could share photos with you.

The pics on the website are deceiving. Pair was chipping, cracks in the drywall, stains on the bed sheets. The temperature of the rooms would not go below 72 degrees.

Room not as clean
We’ve stayed at the Marriott many times and were always very happy with it, however, this time our room was not as clean as it should’ve been. Slightly disappointing given the cost.
