There was no hot water for two days and the staff could not assist. We were unable to shower the day after running the Marathon. The elevator took 45 mins or more each time you needed to exit the building or go to another floor. We should be credited for not being able to shower.

The hotel did not have hot water on the day of the marathon or on the day after the marathon so that runners and guests could not shower. The staff were unable to help or offer any discount. The elevator in the hotel took over 45 minutes to get to the lobby on multiple occasions. Very dissatisfied with this trip.

You would think that Hampton Inn on Chicago's Magnificent Mile would have basic hot water, well, surprise: it did not. This is the week of the Chicago Marathon so this is really bad publicity for this Hampton Inn full of international and domestic tourists
