The Haven is a true classic.
3 bedrooms sleeps 6 comfortably.
Two Queen bedrooms and one bunk bedroom.
Beautiful original wooden floors and great natural light, with a large north facing, sun drenched entertaining deck, that's undercover in case of rain.
A lovely big bath and well equipped kitchen
A big backyard that's fenced in for dogs.
3 minute stroll to the most sheltered part of Culburra beach, Tilbury Cove.
Culburra beach is one of the best Dog beaches in NSW, it's also excellent for kids and first time Surfers.
Culburra beach Surf school is just up the road and you can arrange lessons or hire kayaks or paddle boards from them.
Enjoy the sounds of the crashing waves at night and birdsong to wake.

Kid and dog friendly (one house trained dog per stay)

Very well equipped house.

Such a well equipped holiday house in a great location. The fenced in yard was perfect for our fur boy and our real boy enjoyed the books and games on the bookshelf. It was very easy to relax here, despite travelling with a 3 year old and thats really saying something. David is an absolute pleasure to deal with and extremely accommodating. We really appreciated the early check-in.Thanks for a lovely stay!

Just what was needed. A short break in a very comfortable cottage, well appointed and cosy.Reminiscent of house in which we grew up.Good access to the beach, backyard great for the pooch and ate every meal on the front deck.Will visit again

Oct long weekend

A lovely little place full of old weatherboard charm. If you're expecting a modern interior then this isn't the place for you but the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the kitchen was well stocked and it was perfect for a weekend getaway with family and one puppy! And the location to the beach was perfect, it really is a 3 min walk to a dog friendly beach! Nice quiet area too, 4 min drive to a small Woolworths. Thanks again

Long weekend break

Overall great little place full of old charm thought it would be cold but the place was cozy. After torrential rain in the days before yard was a bit wet underfoot for the dog but otherwise good yard for any dog to run around. Host communicated well with any issue raised prior to visit. Great location, house was clean and exactly as described. Front deck was perfect to watch the world go by. Our 9 year old choc lab loved it as well, even getting lots of cuddles from the neighbours.

Absolutely WONDERFUL beach house

This is a fantastic property! Lovely feel, nicely decorated and updated. Just the right blend of old school beach house, modern comfort and thoughtful touches. As a family with teenagers holidaying over an overcast new year, we appreciated the huge sheltered deck with hammock, lounge and big dining table, all with a view of the ocean. The big couch inside fitted us all as we made good use of the dvd collection. The kitchen is very well kitted out, there was nothing we looked for that we didn't find. Very nice quality and even the knives were sharp! Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to coming back again.

Absolutely Fantastic Holiday!

This lovely house is situated 3 min walk to a patrolled beach. On arrival it was so clean and tidy. I will recommend this property to family and friends, a real gem. The sea breeze in the afternoon sitting out the front is magnificent. A 2min drive (or courtesy bus) to the club for dinner, stroll to the shops for a morning coffee. We loved every minutes of our holiday, thank you.

A fabulous oasis to stay

We loved our stay at The Haven. It was perfectly located near the beach at not far from from the Culburra shops. We loved the great coffee shop walking distance from the house. The house was fabulous, comfortable, very clean, well equipped and pooch friendly. Our favourite part was the beautiful front balcainy where we spent many an hour relaxing. David was a brilliant host, responsive and helpful. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Older-style beach house in great location

We had a relaxing week at the Haven with our beach-loving spaniel. It’s an older-style beach house with some upgraded kitchen facilities but a fairly “original” bathroom. The front-porch recreation area is very comfortable, if a bit exposed, the enclosed backyard is ideal for a dog, and the location near two beaches and a kayak-friendly lake is excellent.

Great location, clean and comfortable house

We were welcomed with a very clean, tidy, aesthetically decorated cottage 2 mins walk to the dog friendly beach. Also within walking distance to the beautiful calm lake and coffee shop with great burgers. The owners of the property were prompt with communication, helpful and very accommodating. We had a wonderful, relaxing and easy holiday.

Great Australian Holiday

We live our stay here. Firstly the house was in an excellent location. It was walking distances to both beaches and the take away store. This allowed happy parents on the bigger waves with very happy kids on the smaller waves and then able to ride their bikes to the shop and playground. My 8year old spent everyday in the hammock and I read as the sun went down on the couch on the porch. It was lovely for the slightly cooler afternoons to sleep with the sun still there. The house is lovely and takes you back to your own holidays growing up where the properties were real beach houses. That is the charm here. Also very comfy beds. We wished we had longer as we didn’t even get our fishing lines wet!!

Great little cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here, property was well presented and perfect for the kids- they especially enjoyed the trampoline and the short stroll to the beach and cafe. The front deck was a nice spot for an afternoon drink. Would recommend.
