The Space:
Located in the heart of beautiful Dennis Port, this incredible property, built in 1862 during the Civil War and recently renovated with brand new furnishings, offers a unique opportunity to large groups looking to vacation in one of the most sought after areas of Cape Cod. With professional interior design work completed in early 2022, this updated antique sleeps 14 total guests and features a 2700 square foot main house with a separate 774 square foot guest house, along with a huge half acre of fenced in yard. Conveniently situated directly south of Main St, you will be right around the corner from many of the great restaurants and shops of Dennis Port, and best of all - you will be 7/10 mile from a number of gorgeous sandy beaches on Nantucket Sound!

After parking up to six cars in the large driveway, open the door to the main house and you will find yourself in a clean and open full kitchen with a gas range and dishwasher. Off of the kitchen, you will find the 1st floor laundry room and full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. On the other side, the kitchen leads to a living area with couch seating and a mounted flat screen smart TV, and a dining area with seating for eight. There is another living area next to the dining room with a couple comfortable armchairs in front of a wood fireplace (not for guest use) - great for relaxing/reading a book. Continue on the 1st floor to find three bedrooms that connect to each other - a queen bedroom leading to another queen bedroom, which leads to a third bedroom with twin bunk beds, and finally, a large full bathroom. Walk up the steep staircase to the second floor and you will find two more bedrooms - the master bedroom with a king bed and a spacious kids bedroom with two twin singles - along with a half bathroom in between.



The separate guest house, located behind the main house, has its own private entrance and features a living area with couch seating and a mounted smart TV, a full kitchen, a full bathroom with a shower, and two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with twin bunk beds. Outside the guest house is a huge fenced in backyard, which offers more than enough space for running around, yard games, or anything else you could think of. Other amenities include window A/C units in all the bedrooms, a propane grill, WiFi, and sheets and bath towels provided at no extra cost with beds made upon arrival. We had such a great time, this place is great for bigger groups located in a perfect location for us as I have family and friends in Harwich and Dennisport. The large yard and amount of people it accommodates was great to have family and friends come down during the week. I wish there was an outside shower but this location does not have one. The kitchen and dining room were large and parking for several cars was extremely adiquate. We all enjoyed our stay.

Nice Week-long stay in Dennis Port with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
We just concluded our week-long stay as a large, multigenerational family in Dennis Port. We’ve been coming for a week each summer for over 50 years, so have stayed in our fair share of rentals! This house is good for a large group of adults and children. It has lots of private sleeping space for everyone and because it’s a large, older, rambling home, you’re not all on top of each other. Lots of space. Location is good in that we could walk to Sundae School and Wee Packet and take our early morning walks up to Sea Street Beach. The large grassy backyard was fun for kids to play in. Needs some more outdoor seating for such a large house! Things to know: 1) There is no outdoor shower or even a hose on the spigots. A hose hook up could really help wash off sand before going into the house! 2) AC units keep the bedrooms cool. No AC in main living area of the main house and the kitchen and main living space get VERY hot. Summers are just hot now, and the house needs AC in the kitchen and main living room. The small guesthouse was very cool. 3) In the main house there is one bedroom you need to walk through (bunk beds) to get to a queen room. Ok for a parent/child situation, but nice to know. 4) Needs some more bakeware and serving dishes for a large group. 5) After loading the guest house fridge and freezer with food the first day, we woke up to realize it wasn’t cold enough or freezing. We notified mgmt and we answered their questions, but then never heard back all week.

Big place with a huge yard
This is a large place with a great deal of potential but requires some updates for the cost. Some additional storage and work space in the kitchen is necessary and available - it is a huge kitchen! Be aware that only the bedrooms are air-conditioned, which is fine if it stays under 85 but not so much when it is not. The property management was VERY response to our inquiries. It was a very clean place. The extra on property cottage is a great feature for some privacy and quiet with a large group.

Our wedding guest group of 12 stayed very comfortably. We cooked and had a nice dinner in the spacious dinning room. Everything was easily walkable- cafes, bars, restaurants, and the beach. Management checked in regularly. Would definitely recommend.
