Nice but lacks quality of service
Our room was nice but we stayed in winter and our heat didn’t work. We only stayed one night and after mentioning the heat issue in the morning to the hotel they didn’t bother to offer any sort of concession. The don’t find that to be professional. Stayed there numerous times but lately I feel the customer service isn’t up to par. Our bartender at dinner didn’t take our order or even offer drinks until after 15 minutes of sitting at the bar - a bit clueless. Pretty hotel but as I said I think they are definitely starting to lack in service and attention to detail.

My room was nice and spacious for its price. Maintenance was lacking in the hotel. I had to call maintenance twice to start the tub to work and then because it was leaking onto the floor because of clogging. Breakfast is delicious and served by very nice and helpful waiters. A great stay for its price

Rooms don't match the reputation
While the lobby and staff were immaculate, the overall condition of the room was completely under cared for. The bathroom doors were falling off the hinges, the sink dripped no matter how you played with the taps, the showerhead and so much residue the water flew everywhere, the air unit only blew cold and the room never warmed past a certain point, and the paint bubbled and split on the ceiling. My brother had a different room and it was in much the same type of disrepair and I heard similar complaint from other patrons upon checkout that were met with complete disinterest from the staff.

This was our first stay at the Brown Palace. It is magical during the Christmas season, and the staff and chefs go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Access to downtown Denver is marvelous. We'll be back next year!

A fabulous "heritage hotel" in close proximity to transit and Denver attractions. The bar, the atrium, and restaurants are all a step back in time, with wonderful period decor and furnishings. An architectural marvel! Highly recommended if you have an opportunity to stay here.

Excellent customer service, all staff including in the tavern were amazing. The inside of the hotel is beautiful, but our room was a bit disappointing. I thought it would be as magical as the rest of the hotel and it wasn’t, Very mediocre.

The hotel is a beautiful old building and the reception staff are very helpful. We ate in The Ships Tavern which was very disappointing and ended up in us sending our food back. But otherwise a lovely hotel

Very pretty lounge area over christmas due to the enormous chandelier. Carpets need updating. I had a dripping sink faucet and a flickering vanity light bulb in the bathroom, not a big deal. Overall a pleasant place to stay.
