We stayed at the property for 6 days. On the 5th day we placed the "no need to change the sheets" sign on the bed (and we did not place anything else whatsoever on the bed - only the sign). When we returned to our room late that night we were surprised to see that the bed had not been made, so we inquired with the front desk who told us that the "no need to change the sheets" sign means the staff will not make the bed...and will not even enter the room. We explained that "no need to change the sheets" is very specific and says nothing about not making the bed! (we paid a lot of money for our 6-night stay and obviously expected that the bed would be made daily!) Accordingly, we were told by the front desk staff that somebody would come and make the bed shortly. A few minutes later, a gentleman knocked on our door with fresh towels (obviously there had been a miscommunication by the front desk because we said nothing about needing fresh towels). He told us that the cleaning staff had left for the day so it would not be possible to make the bed. The following morning the Housekeeping Supervisor overheard us discussing the matter with the Front Desk staff. She told us that we were absolutely correct in that the housekeeping staff should always make the bed even if the "no need to change the sheets" sign is placed on the bed. We hope the hotel management has now communicated to all staff that "no need to CHANGE the sheets" does NOT mean that the bed is to remain un-made!

Finding how to get to the parking lot was a bit annoying. The lobby smelt a bit strange but everything seemed clean so it was fine. Staff was friendly. I last minute realized my credit card had expired but they did let me use a debit card for a deposit, just using a large amount ($400 for one night). The hotel was a bit confusing but once we found our room it was easy to find. The room didn't have a fridge but was clean. The AC was quite loud (a ticking sound) so we only had it on when we weren't there. The hotel asked we give them the keys to our vehicle at night which was a little strange... Then they moved the vehicle without asking or mentioning that it was a possibility..so when we went to get the keys, we went out to see the car was missing. Which was freaky. A staff member walked by and we asked if they by chance moved it and turns out they did.... Would have been nice to know that could happen or at least when we got the keys back it would have been nice to be told. It was fine. Vancouver's hotels are super overpriced but it is what it is. It's Vancouver.

The safe was unusable due to dead batteries in the mechanism, the TV had 2 large white spots on the screen when on and should be replaced, and the door catchplate on the frame was loose to the point of almost falling off.This made the door VERY loose when closed and/or locked, and would be easy to force by would-be thieves. The staff was great, and very helpful overall.

The hotel is very tired. Shower not working, toilet refilling for around 20 minutes. Air con unit cut into the outside wall with a large gap to the outside, so room very noisy. But the positive was that the bed was large and comfortable

Quality Inn Suites is literally in the heart of Vancouver Downtown, from where most of the iconic locations are walkable and easily visible from one spot to another. Even the the connectivity wirhin all of Vancouver is great in terms of transportation, street car stops are plenty within Granville and Davie street. Waterfront is located straight down from the property, opening access to Gas Town and Water street. Dining options can spoil anyone for choice within this central spot. Clubs and entertainment areas are also in abundance. Hop on and Hop off Bus stops are within reach. Tour buses can puck guests from Quality Inn for a booked tour as thebproperty is listed and recognised in their booking platforms. Pacific Centre is a straight 10 minute walk from the property, where designer shopping can be accommodated in between street shopping! The staff at Quality Inn are extremely hospitable and welcoming. The rooms and property are generally decently clean. I qould recommend Quality Inn to anyone who would be looking for a decent and comfortable stay within Downtown Vancouver, and want to feel the raw city vibe with everything it has got to offer, including the busy nights and lights in the evening♥️

Amazing Mexican food right across the road. Great location for nightlife. Quiet, clean room and plenty for space 3 adults sleeping in separate beds. Would reserve a room there again.

Staff was kind and on it. Room was comfortable and clean. Loved that it was close to Yale Town and other downtown points. The area around it is not the best, but a lot of down town has changed. Parking is small and not great if you have a truck. Small to mid sized cars and SUVs would be a better fit. Overall I had a good experience here and am grateful for how lovely the staff was :)
