Kerala stays as unique as you are
Accommodation In Kerala
With Venice-like backwaters, laidback beaches and mountainous tea plantations; Kerala is bursting with glorious scenes of nature and is an ideal region to escape modern civilisation. Add to this over 450 years worth of colonial history and you have a destination which is deservedly known as one of India's best. We offer Kerala hotels to suit your holiday whether you are hoping to just sit back and relax or explore the region and make the most of it.
The Keralan backwaters are one of the most popular attractions in the region thanks to the tranquillity and lush scenery along the 900 km of waterways. You can rent a house boat for a single day or multi day cruise along the canals, lakes and lagoons and sleep overnight for a unique experience. For a more traditional holiday you can choose to stay in one of our hotels in Kerala closer to the beach. Varkala is a well known beach resort in the region because it is home to a number of cliffs which face out to sea and natural springs with healing properties. The atmosphere at Varkala is truly relaxing and you can spend your days enjoying the white sand beaches and warm Arabian Sea.
For a dose of Keralan colonial history, there is no better place to visit than Fort Kochi. First built by the Portuguese in the 16th Century, it was eventually taken over by the Dutch and then by the British who turned it into a prosperous trade centre. The fort is packed with old colonial architecture and stories and provides a real insight into Kerala's past. To the East of Kerala, the Western Ghats mountain range rises from the landscape and tea and spice plantations begin to flourish in the cooler climates. Munnar is a picturesque hill top town worth visiting to get up close to the agriculture and rolling landscapes of the area.
Take a look at our Kerala resorts and enjoy this amazing region.
