We had an exceptional experience at Hotel Valencia. The bed was really comfortable and the whole atmosphere at the hotel was top notch. The scones at the cafe were awesome! Will stay again if ever in San Antonio

The hotel staff impressed us twice before we arrived because our college aged son went from 2 nights, 1 night and then none based on his frat Halloween party date that was updated twice. For a small fee the hotel refunded us twice for dropping 1 room. You arrive at this distinguished hotel with a beautiful building with a very welcoming staff. At the front desk at check-in the complementary margarita from staff starts to get you into the SA Riverwalk state of mind. The hotel is located a little ways from the hustle & bustle that the other parts of the Riverwalk are known for during the weekend. The main hotel restaurant Dorrego's provided us with 3 good meals for dinner, lunch & brunch. An after dinner cocktail in the comfortable bar on Friday night provided a friendly & good conversation bartender. Another friendly bartender for mid-Saturday lunch made for another good meal. Our city view room was inviting & comfortable with an awesome view of a older building with architure of old charm. The hotel & it's staff made my wife's birthday weekend memorable.
