Absolutely horrible experience with this hotel. They sent us an email we could upgrade our room so we did upgrade it to a room with a balcony. It turns out we treated ourselves to a room with so much street noise it was impossible to sleep there. Loud cars all night long. Honking, loud music. I had a marathon the next day and it took me 3 hours to fall asleep (I am not a person who has trouble with sleep). The room check in was DELAYED 2 HOURS. They kept apologizing but that didn’t really change anything. When I asked where was the parking I was told to use the valet. I asked if it was an extra charge and I got a vague “I wouldn’t have to check your reservation” and finally nothing. Later on I was charged $55 for a valet!!!! We also got charged for a late check out even if we were forced to a late check in. I would never stay at this hotel again.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Valencia. We stayed for a week. It was clean, the staff was polite and they provided very good service. The rooms were clean and roomy. I found the beds to be very comfortable. It was very quiet, which was great for sleeping. The staff was very helpful with any questions that we had. The staff would contact transportation for guests, if needed. We had no issues whatsoever while we there. It is walking distance to restaurants, and entertainment from the hotel. We did not have a vehicle to park, so I do not know how easy it is to park there, but I am sure the hotel staff would take of their guests in that regard. There was a market, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues that were walking distance. Buses or Ubers could be used if you wanted to go to attractions outside of the city. We took an Uber to go see the caves outside of the city, it was very interesting.

Although there was a bottle of champagne that was supposed to be apart of the "VIP Benefit" due to an issue with the hotel running slightly behind on the room check in time, we were able to upgrade our room for free which absolutely made up for the lack of champagne! The Staff was friendly and courteous and the hotel itself is gorgeous. Will absolutely stay here again.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Parking is not included, so you can do valet parking for $55 a night or use a nearby parking lot for $10 - $15 a night.

The Valencia staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the location, we could walk to wonderful restaurants and the Convention Center.

I requested a room with a balcony and was told that I did not order that type of room and there was none available. Was also shocked that each room wasn’t provided with complimentary water bottles but yet had some for sale for $8.00 a bottle. When I asked the front desk the lady was rude with attitude and advised me that I could get water for any of the bars for a fee. Next time I visit SA, I will ensure to stay at another property with better services.
