The hotel was good for our needs. A quick trip to see an event. The neighbourhood was questionable, the hotel itself was slightly dated, but met all of needs. I had low expectations for breakfast but was pleased.

Hotel was clean and employees were amazing and respectful. The only issue I had was housekeeping didn’t clean our room every day it was every other. And the parking was atrocious. But overall we were happy with our stay.

I believe I was checked in by Paul on Nov 26. He was very kind and gave me great directions for places I wanted to go. I'd give the breakfast 3 out of 5 because of the frozen breakfast trays. The waffle was the only hot food. The layout was probably instituted during the pandemic and they never went back. Everything was pre-packaged. I was in room 701. The bed was comfortable. There was a damp musty smell. I sprayed lysol and opened the patio door to air out the room. It was ok after that. The water temperature and pressure were good but the tub was stained. On my last night, the key fob did not work. Paul struggled to get me back in my room. I heard him speaking with someone in IT that couldn't help. Eventually I saw they removed the entire cover from the panel on the door. This went on for almost 2 hours. I had to tell them to put me in another room while he worked on the problem. That's poor customer service. I informed him that I would not be going back to a room where the entry panel was defective. He moved me to another room WITHOUT HELPING ME MOVE MY THINGS. He went back downstairs and the housekeeper watched her phone as I went back-and-forth moving my things to the new room. Ridiculous! Definitely no more LaQuinta in my future.
