Overall we had a great stay, the hotel was very clean and the check in/out process was very quick and efficient. They allowed us to check in early and check out late with no extra fee. The infinity pool and the staff servicing it were fantastic, always making sure we were happy with our sunbeds and trying to move us into ones with sun and vice versa. The pool bar was great and again the staff here were very helpful. Special mention to Hannington at the main entrance who was always greeting us, helping with our bags and to get taxis when we needed them. Staff like this really enhance guests stay and encourage them to return, so thank you Hannington! There were a couple of negatives, the main one being the guy on the tours desk who was extremely unhelpful and showed no interest in trying to help us. He even said that bar a cruise and circus type show, there is nothing to do in Dubai at night... The other negative were the restaurant staff. We called to book dinner at their Plantation restaurant for their normal al acarte menu, however when we got there they told us it was a seafood buffet. There was no mention of this on the phone so we tried to cancelled our reservation, however the lady on the phone never made it. We then made a reservation somewhere else, to then be told their al acarte menu is in an ajoining bar. I feel their communication needs to be improved. That being said we enjoyed our stay a lot. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy and the location was ideal.

This hotel is in the heart of JBR. There are shops and restaurants including cheesecake factory conveniently within 2 mins of the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff were all so friendly. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food items.

Hotel cleaning staff were excellent, ensuring a prompt and thorough clean on a daily basis. However small things such as the hair dryer off switch not working, and the balcony door being difficult to push open were mino inconvenience. My main concern however was the way in which we were dealt with. I arrived at 10am, and understandably the hotel have their own check in policy of 3pm. Despite the latter however, we were told several times at hourly intervals that our room was "getting ready" and should be available soon. I was left waiting around for 5 hours clinging on the hope that it would be any minute now based on the interaction from hotel staff. I ended up wasting a SIGNIFICANT portion of time on my first day of a short stay in Dubai, and even at 3pm the room was delayed for another 15 minutes. All I was given was an apology with no real conviction in the sincerity. I also expressed that other hotel guests who arrived to similar times to myself were catered for hours before me. Instead of empathising, or taking responsibility, they replied with "there is a priority list". At the end of the day, I am a paying customer, and I do not appreciate being lied to, and the lack of empathy towards the value of my time, especially when you are there for a short stay. Wont be visiting again im afraid.

Staff were excellent; kudos to housekeeping! Good location, plenty of restaurants, however not directly on beach. Unfortunately gym was not open when we were there, but had access to nearby hotel gym.

Nice hotel, modern and clean. The staff at the pool were super helpful and ensured none was reserving Sun beds then leaving for a bit. Other staff around the hotel were ok, didn’t feel the service was anything special for a 5* hotel. Breakfast nice but quite repetitive. Keep note that this hotel does not have a private area on the beach, they give you some makeshift lounger and umbrella that you can carry down and use on the beach. Area around the hotel is fantastic - loads of restaurants of different cuisines and price points depending on what you’re looking for
