The hotel was wonderful and well located. The only drawback was the dining. The hotel restaurant was chaotic at dinner time and the line to get into breakfast was inexplicably long - one person checking everyone in on an elaborate system then seating them. People gave up and left without breakfast.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but I still don’t recommend it at all. It’s expensive for no reason. After you’ve already paid in full online, you get to the hotel and check in you have to pay an extra $250 deposit PLUS you’re charged $30 EACH DAY of your stay! For what!? No refrigerator or microwave in the room. I used room service 3 days in a row and each day there was an issue. The first day they got my order wrong. The second day they came later than 30 minutes. They even charge for wifi! I could’ve got free breakfast, wifi and a microwave/fridge at a cheaper hotel around the corner. Unless you like wasting money I don’t recommend this hotel.

Great location - central to walking to everywhere downtown and the monuments + museums + historical sites. 5 minute walk to the Metro. Our room was spacious, very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely come back.

I have stayed here before but don’t think I will again. The shower facet wasn’t fully connect to the wall and the water temperature was either scalding hot or cold and the sink faucets were not matching on both sides and the tv picture was not clear. Just expected more for the price.

Great place to stay in DC
We had an amazing stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday in our Nations’ Capital!. Great room with a view of the Washington Monument. Centrally located so everything was accessible by foot.

I enjoyed my stay at the JW Marriott in DC. My only complaint was that even after 3 attempts to get the "Welcome Bag" for the wedding I was attending that had transportation information for all of the different venues and being told it was "on the way" I never received the bag and was forced to either walk, taxi or join another guest while transportation was available but unknown to me.
