Stamford Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in East Sydney

Views of the harbor were beautiful. Area is nice and safe. There are a few fun bars/eateries nearby. Gym is very nice

Set in an area of great diversity and bohemian culture, multi cultural and LGBTQA Lots of small cafes and businesses with predominantly local use not touristy at all. All within very quick and easy walking access to the major visitor attractions such as the Sydney Art Galleries and Museum, The domain and Botanical gardens and the harbour front. A chic and improving residential area of enormous character which I loved staying in. The only downside of the hotel is the very noisy lifts which badly impact on adjacent rooms. Ask for a room remote from the lifts. Hotel is half the size it looks on external photos as one half is an office block. Comfortable rooms and lovely buffet breakfast with friendly attentive staff.

The views were beautiful but we didn’t like all the walking up hills
