Enjoyed my stay. Ice machines only worked sporadically but the concierge was super helpful and filled my wayer bottle with ice when i couldn't get the machines to work.

This hotel has a pool, and our room had a definite damp, moldy smell to it that hit you as soon as you opened the door. The other most unusual thing was the bidet add-on device that was attached to the toilet in the already small and cramped bathroom. It took up a bunch of space around the toilet and made the toilet seat unusually small. It was totally weird and completely unnecessary in this low to mid-grade hotel room. Overall, the place shows signs of being old and run-down. No elevator from the parkade, and there was construction on the street out front, so parking was limited for check in. Limited menu at the restaurant, but the food was OK. You get the impression that this is one of those hotels that the govt has contracted for housing new immigrants. Probably will choose a different downtown hotel next time.

Rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Office manager would not allow a refund for asking to cancel room. Cleaning staff said it always smells like smoke, I was told by 3 other customers it smelled like cigarette smoke and manager choose to follow their policy over customers health.

The rooms are clean and newer. Staff was friendly. The biggest downside was actually getting to the hotel, IF there are any activities that have road closures avoid down town altogether. That coupled with road construction, took over an hour to head 15 blocks

This is our second stay here, good location for Rogers place, being downtown, there was some construction works by the hotel but we didn't hear any noise. A fairly good selection of restaurants near by and all in walking distance. As with any city, if you look for problems you will see them...but for a Friday evening it was very quiet, little traffic so getting there was straight forward. Had a issue with our room, spoke to reception and they moved us immediately. Overall no complaints and will most like;ly be back again!
