We booked a room with 2 queen beds. It was clean roomy. The hotel was under reno so the tower closest to getway was open. The room had AC and the room was nice and cool. The most of the plug were not working. The plugs were so loose. Hotel will charge for early check in and late check out. Pool is a medium size with a 7 person hot tub on the size.

I used to stay in only Wyndham hotels. Specifically Ramada or Days Inn but whichever had the best pool for the area we were in. Never once did I have an issue leaving a deposit in cash or with visa/debit and typically come prepared with $500 spare for this reason. I'm originally from Edmonton area and was an Edmontonian for 25 years. After moving south I travelled weekly for 2 years staying in Wyndham hotels all across Alberta, not to mention months living in one due to fire damage. I am a mom of 4 and have never had any damage complaints, noise complaints and even had perks added from some locations. Nothing on my history to indicate a valid red flag or black list. I was in Edmonton Area for my son's BMX provincials. I was also recently released from hospital with a poor prognosis so I wasn't able to plan ahead since I didn't think I'd even be released or alive to see my 41st birthday on Saturday. Your desk clerk refused, absolutely to accept deposit in any other form than my major credit card, which is currently maxed with prescription expenses as my life saving medication isn't covered, and is minimally 600 per month. I had other options, and had I known earlier in the day. I could have prepared. At 10pm I was left with no place for my children and I to sleep. 4 hours from home, no rooms left in Edmonton and in an unsafe situation. Drug use and homeless everywhere. I will never stay Wyndham again.

It's ok
The room was nice and comfy. Just water never got hot/warm. Just warmish. It's not really good transit wise. It's hard to walk to the LRT station and buses are infrequent. I took Rideshare most of the time to/from the station or to/from my destination.

The building is nice. The pool is quite small, therefore crowded the whole time. The tile floor on the way to pool was extremely dangerous; I was being very careful, and moving slow, and almost fell twice. It claims to be wheelchair accessible; the doorways are wide, but there's no button to open the doors between the hallways or in/out of the rooms. The cafe is only open for breakfast, and the restaurant/lounge is only open late afternoon into evening. The phone has a "room service" button, but there was no menu to know what is available.
