Absolutely lovely place not far from the high street very comfy bed excellent service the front of desk lady was amazing friendly and very helpful we visit fareham three times yearly to visit our Son and family usually go to red lion however had a change to you so sorry you are closing in October

The bedroom wasnt what i expected, i've neber stayed in a room that untidy, for the money that i've paid i was expecting at least a good bed to sleep. The bed is full of bumps and the bed sheets are very old. Towels are so old that threads are coming out. Is like going back 30 years in this room. I came here with my daughter because in the morning she's haveing a gymnastics competition and we were hoping to hev a good restful night before wich for me definitely wasnt

A very tired hotel
The reception experience was very good and easy parking, but that was about all! The signage when we arrived had a different name to the booking, so was difficult to identify (we sailed past). Everywhere was rather tired and the beds not very comfortable (old and cheap mattress). We didn't take breakfast so can't comment on this.

Lovely little hotel
Check in was quick and friendly. The room was spacious and we had a disabled room not our choice but was a lovely hot wet room for the bathroom. Its a shame the hotel is closing soon, to be made into flats.

I loved the breakfast. Did not like the fact I stayed 2 nights and did not get a tidy up, bed nade or clean towels. Room was satisfactory but needed windows closed due to traffic noise

I chose this property for its location which proved to be ok. It is need of updating. My room faced directly onto the car park, where a huge works van was parked, obstructing any ‘view’ and light coming into the room. The window blinds were broken, tatty and just not in a good state of repair. The bathroom was ok, shower was poor and could not run a bath. Rooms are not tended to each day, not that that bothered me and had to ask for tea coffee etc. Bed was comfortable. It was an ‘ok’ stay but definitely needs some TLC

This hotel is small and cosy with very friendly staff, especially the manager, who was most helpful and accommodating. Food was good quality. The location is on the busy A27 and in rooms at the front of the building can road noise can be heard. A value for money hotel.

The room we stayed in was a bit dark and depressing, unlike some of the other rooms I saw. The bedding did not smell clean. The wifi did not work. The bathroom is in need of an update, leaking fitting on the shower fixing so no pressure at all and water went cold very quickly.. Good location for what we needed.

Not suitable if you're a light sleeper.
Nice place and location. But i hadn't realised the hotel was so close to the main road and i was situated in the front room where i couldn't open the windows as i'd hear cars go by all night. So i was fairly hot in the night and couldn't sleep too well. Everything else including food was great.
