Accommodation In Fuzhou
Fuzhou is the capital of the Fujian Province and a city with over two thousand years of history. Tourists to this beautiful destination discover scenic nature, a rich heritage and local culture that will make for a fantastic holiday to China. Book your Fuzhou hotel today and come enjoy a great vacation!
Explore the attractive West Lake Park in the centre of the city. It's an urban park that's a great spot for a picnic, or just taking a break from the busy city centre. Hire a paddle boat and enjoy the water, or see the dinosaur exhibit in the Fuzhu Science Museum. Don't miss Wuyi Square and the impressive statue of Mao in this central location. If you're here at dusk or dawn you can see the flag ceremony, or get here before 8AM on a weekend to see more than a dozen different martial arts being practised.
The best views are from the top of Gu Mountain. Take the challenge of a 1,900 m climb to the summit, or take it easy with a 20 minute cable car ride. The temple at the top is Taoist, and from here you have an unsurpassed view of the valley. Try the vegetarian restaurant for a delicious meal, before tackling another climb up Baiyun Mountain. The teahouse in a cave at the summit is not to be missed, and also gives visitors excellent panoramic views. If you're looking for an easier walk, try the short trail to the hilltop of Wu Mountain. There are plenty of street performers along the way to make it interesting, and the White Pagoda at the top is great for a photo.
Visit Qi Mountain and see a forest park and stunning waterfalls, as well as fantastic views into the valleys as you walk over a vertigo-inducing suspension bridge. For a taste of the true Chinese heritage, walk through the historic district in the centre of the city. There are 268 residences that date back to the Ming Dynasty in the area known as Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. Visit the ten finest homes and see the wonderful architecture for yourself. A hidden treasure is the Fuzhou Museum in downtown, which is housed in Hualin Temple, a spectacular temple built during the Tang Dynasty.
To see one of the most historic and beautiful parts of China, visit Fuzhou for yourself. Enjoy the natural scenery, Chinese heritage and local culture on your next vacation.
