The nearest large town is the summer town of Västervik, where there are numerous restaurants and shops.
Here you are close to many of Småland's attractions, such as Astrid Lindgren's World, Astrid Lindgren's Birthplace Näs, the so-called Glasriket and much more.
The popular Kolmården Zoo is within easy reach by car.
