The property itself was nice, and the staff were friendly. However, every time we left the hotel, we were greeted by the overwhelming smell of feces wafting outside the building. It was so bad it could make anyone reconsider their stay! Definitely not the kind of 'atmosphere' you’d expect on vacation. It was an unfortunate and unforgettable part of the experience—just not in a good way!

Overall this spot is perfect if seeing a concert or game at Desert Diamond Arena or State Farm Stadium. Literally 2 minute walk. The hotel is grand feeling and the room was very nice. Easy parking for self parking, courtesy staff. They even had a robot who serves the food at the onsite restaurant. Definitely will go back.

One of the best hotels
Stay was perfect, very clean rooms and lobbies. Wish their restaurant and bar was open a bit later but overall it was good. I enjoyed the fact the desert diamond arena was near by.

The property was bright, clean and quiet. It was in an excellent location for restaurants, shopping and activities. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious and beds were very comfortable. Staff was lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area during the day as the courtyard in the evenings. Lots of seating and loungers to enjoy the sunshine. We also used the spa at the hotel. Staff were great and very friendly and we felt so welcomed. The only thing I would have loved is change rooms and showers in the washrooms by the pool.

From start to finish everyone was kind friendly and efficient. This is the top choice for the area if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, options for walkable food drinks and shopping. Right next door to the stadium this also Makes this a great option if you’re attending any games in the area. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay! Shout out to Dan at the bar he went above and beyond to ensure my drinks were well liked and fresh.

Over priced, under staffed
The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale appears to be incapable of handling event crowds. When we arrived the reservation was screwed up and the check-in clerk was unable to enter both rooms properly. This resulted in the failure to clean one of the rooms staying a 2nd night. I went to the desk and was promised the room would be cleaned immediately. When we returned from dinner it was still not cleaned and we wound up waiting in the hotel lounge until it was cleaned. The first night we arrived, the lounge/bar staff were swamped with the cby patrons booked for the next day football game. Service was overwhelming short staffed. This was true the next night for the Marine Reserve Unit ball. Am I being sensitive, NO, I have never paid so much for a hotel room (peak Bear's game rates) and I am a world traveler. With these rated, sub par service is unacceptable.
