First of all, the hotel was very clean and well kept The main issue is that what is supposed to be one of the best hotels from a service standpoint, it was terrible. From the moment we pulled up, they were very unprepared for the July 4th week. There were no luggage carts available. The hotel only had 2 people running the desk when everyone was trying to check in and no one would help then. When it came to charges on my card, there was no transparency. The front desk could not explain what the charges were for so they just called it a card check. We went to guests services to ask about the July 4th festivities at the hotel and the staff had ZERO clue about what was going on. Told us that there would be food trucks, which was a very lack luster set up with hot dogs and churros. Your guests are spending high dollar for the experience, do better at training the staff and being prepared.

We booked a room for a stay-cation. I main reason was to watch a firework show, but it was canceled. Second reason was to swim at the resort. It was extremely busy. We could not eat at the resort, too busy. Not really relaxing.

Disappointing 1 night stay
Checked thru a staff at front with a snooty attitude. He said may I help you in a rude tone like I’m inconveniencing him. He spilled his script without me understanding any of it. went to our room, can’t open the door. my husband tried and couldn’t either. A helpful housekeeper seemed to knew already what the problem was, swipe the keycard and forcibly opened the door. got in finally, i can already tell the room is too small and outdated. I accidentally walked barefoot and the carpet felt wet and sticky. bath tub takes forever to drain I felt like it was gonna overflow anytime so we didn’t use as much water as we normally use, sucks specially when you smelled like chlorine and sunscreen. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working, no microwave no toothpaste and not enough bottled water. I paid over $420/1 night only to wish we spent it somewhere else. best part is the Paradise Springs but you need to ride a shuttle to go from the hotel. This place is big, well kept for the most part and a lot of constructions going on. Its up to guests to figure out what the heck to do or where and how to go to the spots. Research before you go OR just don’t go entirely probably better to stay on a real waterpark because hotel service was non existent. Probably coming back for PS but not staying 1 night ever.
