Honest problem
I am sorry to report that we encountered bedbugs during our stay. Although we saw no evidence when we entered the room, there was one on the bathroom floor the next morning (odd as that is). Both I and the desk clerk agreed that it looked like one. He promptly gave us a new room and refunded the nights' stay. The new room also had no evidence of bedbugs. But my daughter awoke the next morning with multiple bites in a linear pattern on her hands and arms consistent with bed bugs. None of the rest of us had them. Although that's puzzling, not everyone reacts the same and bites can appear up to 14 days later, The manager/clerk was extremely apologetic, refunded our second night, and had already arranged for the exterminator. I do not blame the hotel, and appreciate their responsiveness, but this is an unfortunate situation for any traveler. We are heat-treating our luggage and clothing, but I'm very worried about bringing any eggs into the house.

I have been staying at Quality Inn at this location for many many years and it's always been very nice. But, this time I've noticed the place was neglected in many areas. Our room had muffin crumbs and sink area still had hair all over. King bed room only two towels. Bed sheets were coming off and bed would bang on the wall every time you toss and turned while sleeping. I really hope these were isolated issues because I like to stay there again and looking forward to have these issues solved.

Decent, comfortable stay
I was initially wary of staying in a pet-friendly hotel, which I've never done before. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it is and with no overwhelming pet odors. The lady who checked us in was very accommodating when we asked if my friend and I could have rooms close to each other and put us across the hall from each other. The ladies at breakfast were super nice when we had to eat and run (waffles, hard-boiled eggs, English muffins, blueberry or chocolate muffins, yogurt). The decor is dated, but at the price point I was paying, it met my expectations.

Clean, had frizer in fridge, very friendly staff, had convenient back door close to my room, I was there to go to Mt hood, if your going there once then it’s great location on the way. But I went there twice which means that I had to drive back and forth. It is very far to drive back and forth. Maybe stay at closer location in that case.

Very noisy, people above us didn't stop stomping around all night long. I had requested a top floor room but that was not honored. Also the breakfast was pathetic. No options for gluten free so all I had was watered down orange juice. Only protein was boiled eggs ( I don't eat eggs) and the one my husband had was bad. The only bright spot in our stay was the sweet breakfast attendant. We will definitely not ever stay here again.
